A Short note from Ivan McClay

Hello, I'm the founder and brains behind a lot of what Keep Kids Wrestling started with. I love martial arts of all kinds but have always had a special spot in my heart of wrestling. I grew up in a low-income family and wrestling ended up being my escape from the world's troubles. Before the charity was even a scribble on paper I knew I wanted to help the next financially unfortunate wrestler and give them a reason to stay with the sport. With the help of the wrestling community we are able to make that dream a growing reality today, one kid at a time. Since our first donation, we've gathered over $1000 dollars worth of gear and donations. We've given a collection of wrestling shoes, clothes, and headgear to first time hopefuls across the state and the rest is history. To date we've donated hundreds of dollars worth of wrestling gear to committed and hard-work wrestlers who  couldn't  afford them otherwise. And we couldn't have done it without you. Your help has reached wrestlers in need. Thank You!

What Can You Donate?

Monetary donations above $10 are always welcomed. Additionally, most things wrestling or fighting related related are acceptable. A short list may include gently used shirts, shorts, sweats, hoodies, or long sleeve shirts. Wrestling/ boxing shoes and head gear are our most common items and we take shoes in the most useable conditions. Head gear, knee pads, and any kind of joint braces are a good start as well. Lastly, any bags, hats, gloves, or new socks are always welcomed as well.  If you feel you are better able to give through fiscal donations we do accept several forms of cash donations as well. Request a short video or picture from a kid helped in our program by people like you. For those who are not in a position to give money please help share our hashtag #KeepKidsWrestling
